We are looking forward to another great school year. At this time we are ready to start the online registration process, complete a lunch application, and ensure that your immunizations are up to date so your child can attend school on August 17th. If you need any help with the following items, campus secretaries will be back in the office on Monday, July 25th.
Online Registration - For all returning students, log into your parent portal and it will prompt you to verify and update your information for each of your children that you have connected. Directions can be found on the parents portion of the website as well as links. New student registration is also done from the parent portal. Lunch Application - During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress authorized spending that allowed schools to serve free meals for all students. Those funds are not authorized to continue for the 2022-2023 school year. As a result, Milano ISD must return to charging for school meals and offering free and reduced-price meals based on student eligibility. Full media release can be found here. Immunizations - Milano ISD wanted to remind parents and guardians to make sure your child's immunizations are up-to-date before the first day of school on August 17th. Students will not be allowed to be on campus until all immunization requirements are met. Here is more information from the state on immunization requirements.
